Renew Bariatrics, Inc. (Renew Bariatrics) deposit, cancellation and refund policy is described below and pertain to all monies and payments made to Renew Bariatrics, Inc. including, but not limited to: credit cards, checks, wire transfers, bank deposits, etc.
Deposit and Booking Surgery:
Booking Deposit: A deposit of $500 USD security deposit is due at the time of scheduling the surgery to secure your surgery date and to get consulted by our staff. The booking deposit will apply to the total balance owed for your procedure.
Refunds and Cancellation Policy:
Booking Deposit Refund: All refunds and cancellations must be made in writing. The booking deposit is fully refundable if made in writing by no more than thirty-one (31) days before scheduled surgery date. If the cancellation and refund request, is made between fifteen (15) and thirty (30) days before surgery, the customer is entitled to a $150 USD refund of the original $500 deposit. No refunds are made within fifteen (15) days before surgery date.
Refunds are limited in scope, because the financial investment in making arrangements for the hotel, transportation, surgery operating room, surgery, etc. All cancellations and refunds must be received by Renew Bariatrics, Inc. in writing, via email or fax. Please allow up to six (6) weeks for processing refunds.
Surgery Cancelled by Doctor
If the surgery is canceled at the doctor’s request because the customer did not follow pre-operative instructions, then the entire loss of the deposit and all monies paid for the procedure are forfeited. No refunds or partial refunds are returned.
Customers can postpone the original surgery date if made in writing no more than thirty (31) days to scheduled surgery date. Customers can only postpone once (1) before the booking deposit can be re-used to secure another surgery date.
For example, if a customer books a surgery for a future date of March 1st, then postpones to April 1st, then postpones again, to May 1st, the customer will lose the initial booking deposit – and must pay another booking deposit to secure surgery date.
If the customer postpones within thirty (30) days before originally scheduled surgery date, then the original book deposit will be forfeited and must pay another booking deposit to secure surgery date.
Fully-Paid Patients & Remainder Funds Policy:
Customers must fully pay the outstanding balance before traveling to Mexico for the procedure(s). If a customer fails to fully-pay for the procedure, then no procedure will be taken place. Customers may discharge the amount owed last minute using credit card(s).
If the customer fails to communicate and/or respond to Renew Bariatrics’ communication attempts. Renew Bariatrics reserves the right to cancel the procedure, and relinquish the surgery date to another paying customer. In the event this happens, the customer will still owe Renew Bariatrics for any and all outstanding balances.
If bill collections are necessary, the fees associated and/or incurred by Renew Bariatrics, Inc. will be applied to the balance owed.
