CANCELLATION, FINANCIAL & SCHEDULING POLICY
Refunds and Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations and refunds must be received by Renew Bariatrics, Inc. in writing, via email or fax. Please allow up to six (6) weeks for processing refunds.
Refunds and Cancellation: Booking Deposit Refund Policy
The following policy is only for Booking Deposits of at least $400 USD.
Booking Deposit Refund of at least $400 USD: All refunds and cancellations must be made in writing. The booking deposit is fully refundable if made in writing by no less than (31) days before the scheduled surgery date. If the cancellation and refund request, is established between thirty-two (32) and forty-five (45) days before the surgery date, the customer is entitled to a $100 USD refund of the original deposit amount. Customers who deposit at least $400 can cancel any surgery date that is at least forty-six (46) days prior to their surgery date, with only a $120 administrative fee. No refunds are made within thirty-one (31) days before the surgery date, whatsoever. If surgery is schedule less than 31 days from surgery date no refund will apply.
Booking Deposit Refund of less than $400 USD: No refunds are made with booking deposits of less than $400 USD whatsoever.
Refunds and Cancellation: All Money Paid to Renew Bariatric Policy
The following policy is for all money and payments made to Renew Bariatrics.
All money paid to Renew Bariatrics: No refunds are made within 31 days before the scheduled surgery date. All payments to Renew Bariatrics, including booking deposit and payments towards surgery total balance, are subject to full forfeiture. Customers are not entitled to any refund, full or partial, of any kind. Refunds are limited in scope, because the financial investment in making arrangements for the hotel, transportation, doctor(s)/surgeon, surgery operating room, hospital room, administrative fees, equipment procurement, surgical materials, etc. If surgery is schedule less than 31 days from surgery date no refund will apply.
Refunds and Cancellation: Postponed, Rescheduled Policy
The following policy is for customers who’ve postponed or rescheduled their initially scheduled surgery date.
Postponed, Rescheduled: No refunds are given to any customer who has postponed or rescheduled their surgery whatsoever.

All Money Paid to Renew Bariatrics: No refunds are made within thirty-one (31) days before the scheduled surgery date. All payments to Renew Bariatrics, including booking deposit and payments towards surgery total balance, are subject to full forfeiture. Customers are not entitled to any refund, full or partial, of any kind. However, limited refunds will be dispersed on a case-by-case basis, with no guarantee whatsoever. Refunds are limited in scope, because the financial investment in making arrangements for the hotel, transportation, doctor(s)/surgeon, surgery operating room, hospital room, administrative fees, equipment procurement, surgical materials, etc. If surgery is schedule less than 31 days from surgery date no refund will apply.
Cancellations within 14 days prior to surgery will result in a forfeiture of your booking deposit, and a fee of $500 USD. Rescheduling is not possible within 14 days prior to surgery.
Cancellations made within 7 days prior to surgery or on the day of surgery will result in a forfeiture of your booking deposit, and a fee of $1,500 USD. Rescheduling is not possible within 7 days prior to surgery.
Refunds and Cancellation: Postponed, Rescheduled Policy
The following policy is for customers who’ve postponed or rescheduled their initially scheduled surgery date.
Postponed, Rescheduled: No refunds are given to any customer who has postponed or rescheduled their surgery whatsoever.
Rescheduled, Postponed Policy:
The following policy is only for Booking Deposits of at least $400 USD.
Customers can postpone the original surgery date once if made in writing no less than thirty-one (31) days prior to scheduled surgery date. Customers can only postpone once (1), allowing customers to use re-use the booking deposit for another surgery date.
For example, if a customer books a surgery for a future scheduled date of March 1st, then postpones to April 1st, then postpones again, to May 1st, the customer will lose the initial booking deposit – and must pay another booking deposit to secure the surgery date for May 1st.
If the customer postpones within thirty-one (31) days before the initially scheduled the surgery date, then the initial booking deposit or $500 USD, whichever is greater, will be forfeited from their account, and the customer must pay a booking deposit of $500 USD to secure another surgery date.
Cancellations or rescheduling are subject to current pricing.
Doctor Cancellation Policy:
If the surgery is canceled at the doctor’s request because of the following issues:
the customer did not follow pre-operative instructions, or
the customer lied, omitted information, mislead Renew Bariatrics or Renew Bariatrics’ staff about their health
Then the entire loss of the booking deposit, all payments made for the procedure are forfeited, and a fee $1,500 USD will be imposed.
Furthermore, if the doctor tries to perform the surgery but encounters an issue preventing safe surgery with high-outcomes, the doctor has the right to cancel the surgery. No refunds or partial refunds are returned for canceled surgeries.
Fully-Paid Customers & Remainder Funds Policy:
Customers must fully pay all outstanding balances before traveling to Mexico for the procedure(s). Customers must pay the outstanding balance 3 weeks (21 days) before their surgery date. If a customer fails to fully-pay for the procedure, Renew Bariatrics has the right to cancel the surgery, and all payments made for their outstanding balance will be forfeited. Customers may discharge all amount owed last minute using a bank wire.
Customer No-Communication Policy:
If the customer fails to communicate and/or respond to Renew Bariatrics’ communication attempts. Renew Bariatrics reserves the right to cancel the procedure, and relinquish the surgery date. In the event this happens, the customer will still owe Renew Bariatrics for any and all outstanding balances and will lose their booking deposit and any payments made to discharge their balance.
Failed Payments, Outstanding Balances Policy:
If a credit card or check payment fails to clear, for any reason, there will be a $100 one-time fee added to your outstanding balance. Accounts not paid within 30 days of the date of surgery are subject to a 2% monthly finance charge.
If bill collections are necessary, the fees associated and incurred by Renew Bariatrics, Inc. will be applied to the balance owed.
Possible Additional Fees:
Possible intraoperative procedures not covered: I also consent to any procedure, the doctor deems necessary to save my life or to ensure minimal complications postoperatively, during this procedure and I hereby agree to pay for the costs related to these procedures. This includes, but is not limited to:
C-PAP Rental – $150/Night (bring your own to waive fee)
Additional Compression Socks (one is included, please pack if more needed) – $50 ea.
Hiatal hernia repair – $500
Removal of the gallbladder – $800
High BMI Fee (Over 49 BMI) – $500 and up
